Does the Bible teach Christians to be identified with a specific local church? When they
move, should they seek to be recognized as part of a church in their new location?
Should they attend the meetings of a congregation, participate in its work,
submit to its leadership, and participate in its discipline? Should a local
church check to be sure people are faithful Christians before receiving them as
members?
